Can't go out on my own this whole week. Was with my mom in AMK Central yesterday, buying fruits and stuff. Heard someone calling my name. Looked around, and stared at the person for about 5 seconds before recognizing her. It was Jodiee!!(: Hehheh:D My mom and I were pushing the trolley thing in NTUC, and the wheel hit this lady's leg. Her husband was pretty cool about it, but she seemed damn irritated. Oops(: Wow. Took the millionaire thingo on Facebook, and found that I have...31% chance of becoming a millionaire. Dammit, that's lower than my French grade. Hmm, I need to work on this. Alright. I shall set myself a target. To create a sound theory for Erina. Erina! I shall have a solid theory for you! :D Ohkay. I am feeling super guilty. I haven't started any holiday homework, I haven't bought Sec 2 books, I have forgotten almost everything I studied for for review tests, I haven't come to a decision about French, I haven't burnt the CD i've been wanting to for forever, and I haven't ripped Click 5 songs and burnt them into a CD for Hoon. Okay...I shall start with the solid theory and the CDs. I shall just blog randomly for the time being, and work up my motivation to get my butt to do something productive. OH. I didn't realize Justin Timberlake was the voice of Arthur in Shrek 3! Coolio. Watched Shrek The Third 3 times in 3 days, and Ratatouille 4 times in 3 days. I could understand ONE sentence of French in Ratatouille!!!! :D:D Big achievement for me, okay(: It said "Linguini est le fil de Gusteau" Which means "Linguini is the son of Gusteau" Right, right right?????:D:D If it is, tell me, if not.... Then just lie that it is. Okay...I shall not babble. Where have my days gone to? I feel like i've been doing nothing at all, but the days just seem to pass... Alright, enough of this. Let's get down to it. Okay. Deborah's party was ACE(: Gugu Pat is actually quite nice:D Met Hoon at the bus-stop outside my house. We took 269 to AMK Central to get Deborah's present. We walked around, to every video shop we could see (we were looking for Pompeii or Empress Club). We walked into this cheena video shop and asked for Pompeii. The guy at the counter was clearly chinese educated. Here's roughly how it went. "Excuse me, do you have 'Pompeii'?" "How to spell?" "P-o-m-p-e-i-i." *Checks the records* "Erm..don't have leh." "Oh, erm, okay." "What kind of show issit? It is a movie ah?" "Erm...like documentary." "How to spell?" "P-o-m-p-e-i-i. It is a city." "OH, Bombay ah?" "Huh, er, Pompeii..." "Don't have..." "Erm, okay..thanks, bye." Or something like that, anyway. Hehe. Hoon and I were searching for Laser Flair. We walked around, asked people, but to no avail each time. We were walking aimlessly for awhile, then suddenly, Hoon spotted it and was like, "THERE!" We ran there, but it was already sold out. We went out, and spotted "This Fashion". Not resisting, we went inside and looked around. Hoon tried on some tops, and I tried this jacket. Walked around for a bit inside, then finally went to look for a bus in AMK Hub which took us to Thomson Plaza. We asked this bus driver, and without hesistating, he was like, "166". Wow. So we took 166 to Thomson Plaza. Went to Popular and searched for Empress Club. They didn't have it. We settled for this interesting Q&A book which had questions like "Do fish vomit?" and "What do cats see when they look in the mirror?" We thought Deborah would like it. Hehheh(: Went to eat in the food court. I bought Hokkien Mee, and Hoon got Chai Dao Guay, both which took infinity to come. Hmph. We then went to get Hoon's swimming costume. She got the cheapest one in Royal Sporting House. Met Deborah, and her mom and dad at the taxi stand. We got in the car. Deborah's dad was asking us if we recognized the songs playing. Haha. Deborah's grandma is so cool. She squeezed in with us at the back. We got to Raffles Town Club. It was freaking GRAND. Like a hotel. We went bowling. Most of my shots went into "longkang". And the one time I tried the fancy pose, my bowling ball flew right out of my hand, and to the wrong direction. So embarrassing. Arh. Hehe. Hoon and I were playing against Deborah at first, then we switched lanes and played against Fion and her brother, Ryan. Ryan got the fancy pose thing going on. Haha. He's P4, issit? Yeah, P4. He had bowling lessons. Heh.  Da bowling alley!!! See the slick floor? See the "longkang" into which my bowling balls felt compelled to enter?  Hoon taking the pins down with style(:  Touch the balls, grab the balls(: Deborah's mom asked the guy "What size balls should we take?"  In da bowling alley!!:D Juan came! We played for awhile. Then Juan and I wandered outside and caught Deborah's daddy playing in the arcade. Haha. Cool. Then we went to swim!! Juan and I weren't planning on swimming, so we waited while Hoon changed. We cam-whored and wandered around the SUPER GRAND locker room. It was air-conditioned, with tiled floors and benches neatly in between the rows of wooden lockers flanking and aligning the wall which had this pattern thing going on on the perfect paint. I could have sworn that by the time she was done, Juan and I had sinewy skin, grown wrinkles and white hair and needed wheelchairs to move around. Hm.  Hoon, Mrs Chong and Juan reconnoitering our locker 107:D  Showgirls yo(: Products of cam-whore below!!!!         Wait, I don't know what this is. Probably Hoon's legs. Heh Juan and I sat on the chairs watching them swim. Then, I just couldn't resist it anymore. So I went to change into swimsuit and went to swim with them. Juan came down too(: We went to slide. Super fun:D Then swam and fooled around(: Gugu Pat came. Heh. Grandmama Chong helped me look after my phone and my EC. Hehe. Then when we were done, we went to bathe. Was so cold in the locker room since we were wet that I thought the water in my hair was gonna freeze into mini glaciers and I was gonna freeze like Jack in Titanic. Except that it would have been much less romantic in a locker room, of course. Dinner was real good. Buffet. So grand, so grand(: Then Gugu Pat took ice-cream. We all followed suit. Haha. Grandmama Chong was like admonishing her about the calories. Daddy Chong was going, "You're young, it's okay" to us. Hehheh. Juan and I made a lot of noise at the ice cream place. Cause we weren't sure how to scoop the ice-cream. Haha. Took pictures, then Juan, Hoon and I went off.  Grand, I tell you, GRAND. I just chased my brother around the living room 'cause he was punching the penguin our dad brought back from Malaysia. Hmm. Okay, I shall go work on the productive things i'm supposed to be doing. Have pictures from Cafe Heart! But i'll post those next time. |
