Wow, I never thought i'd be back here D: So it's coming to the end of another year. 2009 was actually the fastest year to have passed by for me in my whole 15 years (okay fine maybe I can't remember the first few but oh for the love of dramatic effect). In 2 days, it'll actually be LEGAL for us to buy NC16 movie tickets and not have to creep by the ticket masters with guilty looks plastered on our barely-16 faces. In 2 days, we'll be entering the year of nothing but black patterns on paper bearing and encompassing knowledge we have to all but shove into our reluctant and shrinking heads. Not sure i'm quite ready for that. For one, there is a fast decomposing stack of what seems like files and worksheets and books in my cabinet. And yes, the disintergrating is not being fueled by moisture or heat-breeding bacteria, but by my love-hate acquaintance - time. Yes, I should stop whining, and go tackle that layer of humus (which will incidentally morph into my lifeline next year), and also get ready to travel to Yishun with Leon for lunch. Okay byebye. |
