A 23 year old guy just asked me to watch Beauty and The Beast. :O I'm not kidding. So I just watched Beauty and The Beast with my wonderful brother. And it was actually.Freaking nice. And I mean really. Freaking freaking nice. I don't recall watching it when I was younger although I know I watched it over and over again back in the good ol' 1990s. But now in 2008, I think Beauty and The Beast is freaking nice. I mean. It's like a cartoon and everything, but it has so much more meaning and value than most of the shows we watch nowadays. And back in those days, these kinds of cartoons were done hand-drawn. So there was a tremendous amount of effort put into just one scene. It came out beautifully. And it was freaking nice. No, i'm not crazy. No, the rain isn't making me deluded. No, the physics worksheet didn't make me mental. I'm freakingly serious. Beauty and The Beast is nice. I tell you. When the Beast was turning into a handsome young man, my brother took the mouse and wanted to skip the scene. I screamed like shit at him and made him go all the way back. He skipped all the singing and dancing parts also. Gender difference. Interesting stuff. Oh, and he skipped the happily every after ending 'cause his girlfriend called just when the Beast's castle became all nice, and they were about to smile and be merry with all the pots and candlesticks which became human. :O But it was just damn nice. I proclaim (and no, you're not laughing at me) that I love Beauty and The Beast. On a random note, this is second post of the day :O The previous post, dated Sunday 17 August was typed today. Watched table tennis yesterday in Grandma's house. Brothers were screaming like women. Olympics are cool. Very, very cool. Usain Bolt - fastest man on earth, Michael Phelps - best Olympian, wow. It's kind of fun to watch. But it does get kind of irritating when you switch on the tv and it's channel 5 showing these super fit-looking people getting ready to sprint their heads off in 100m and it inspires jealousy seeing their toned and muscled bodies. Then you flip the channel to channel U, and these two sports outfit-clad people are crouching on opposite sides of a blue table, each brandishing a bat and one holding a ball. When the ball has been going back and forth between the two bats for about fifteen minutes with occasional shouts of joy and outbursts of applause from the audience when a ball goes off the table or doesn't hit it, you decide you've had enough and decide to switch to channel 8. On channel 8 you see an enormous pool with lines dividing it into lanes. 8 half-naked people are standing on platforms in front of each lane and at the sound of a whistle, they jump head-first into the pool and shoot off like canon balls across the water. You do not want to switch to Suria or Vasantham Central because you fear you'd see the same thing and get all worked up and snap at the next person you see. It sucks. But then again, you see that one of the 8 half-naked people is Michael Phelps - 8 gold medals in one single Olympics games, one of the table tennis players is LiJiawei playing for Singapore, and one of the runners is Usain Bolt - fastest man on earth. You start to see and feel the excitement, the tension, the hopes, the glory, and the deeper meaning of the games and sportsmanship that goes beyond the balls and shuttlecocks. It rocks. Sorry if i'm not making sense. Don't crack yourself up over it. I'm probably just talking crap. But the part about Olympics rocking is totally true. Lit Semmm:D:D:D Psyched about it(: But kind of freaking out about the one student leader to one workshop thing. I tell you, I won't know what the hell I need to do if the water runs out or the facilitator gets a heart attack. I need Survival 101- How To Fake Leadership Qualities For Dummies. Maybe I can write one. 5 top options on how to fake leadership qualities in cases of facilitators getting heart attack: 1) Run out of the room and scream for Christine 2) Run out of the room and grab the nearest person and tell him/her someone is dying and needs love and moral support before he/she goes to that other place so he/she must go in and say a few inspirational words (must get Mr Alex Teoh on standby) 3) Call ambulance and faint while making report and then blame the nearest participant for letting out too much and too smelly gas 4) Call Cabrini and ask her how to do CPR and get the front row participant to do it And the most likely option.. 5) Get a heart attack myself Incredible. Been sitting here for, what, 2 hours already? Watching Xiaxue videos and blog-hopping :O Geog test, math homework scream my name. Still here. NDP was cool cool stuff. Black Knights were the bomb man. Wong Xinling made me stand up in the midst of thousands of people who were all sitting and waiting for the show to start and wave my flower-like thing while shouting at her on the phone for about 10 minutes before I finally located her. Suddenly, a rumble of thunder is heard, and they realize they are all alone in the building, and it is getting dark...
