A 23 year old guy just asked me to watch Beauty and The Beast. :O I'm not kidding. So I just watched Beauty and The Beast with my wonderful brother. And it was actually.Freaking nice. And I mean really. Freaking freaking nice. I don't recall watching it when I was younger although I know I watched it over and over again back in the good ol' 1990s. But now in 2008, I think Beauty and The Beast is freaking nice. I mean. It's like a cartoon and everything, but it has so much more meaning and value than most of the shows we watch nowadays. And back in those days, these kinds of cartoons were done hand-drawn. So there was a tremendous amount of effort put into just one scene. It came out beautifully. And it was freaking nice. No, i'm not crazy. No, the rain isn't making me deluded. No, the physics worksheet didn't make me mental. I'm freakingly serious. Beauty and The Beast is nice. I tell you. When the Beast was turning into a handsome young man, my brother took the mouse and wanted to skip the scene. I screamed like shit at him and made him go all the way back. He skipped all the singing and dancing parts also. Gender difference. Interesting stuff. Oh, and he skipped the happily every after ending 'cause his girlfriend called just when the Beast's castle became all nice, and they were about to smile and be merry with all the pots and candlesticks which became human. :O But it was just damn nice. I proclaim (and no, you're not laughing at me) that I love Beauty and The Beast. On a random note, this is second post of the day :O The previous post, dated Sunday 17 August was typed today. Just that I saved a bit in drafts yesterday. (I'm hunting down Cinderella and Snow White tomorrow.) |
